If we are the average of the 5-10 people you associated with most, then our health, success and happiness partially depends on:
– Surrounding ourselves with positive influences
– Being a force of positive influence to those around us
Perhaps you’ve heard this before. But knowing is not enough. When was the last time you took inventory of both?
Ok, so first of all I thought you were sitting there with a pipe in your hand, then I realized it was a cup of joe or tea! You look so peaceful and happy, love to see that look on your face. Thanks for bringing this up Steve, I try to bring that question to my everyday life as often as I am still with my thoughts and yoga helps me rest there. Each time I am – it is clear to me that everyone close enough to be ‘in’ my life ‘is’ a positive influence, those that are not – are on the outside comfortably living in their own energies whether it positive or not – I try not to dip into it – they own it not me. Everyone ‘in’ and part of my life is a positive influence on my life and I hope I am to theirs. The Baga Vagita (which is the oldest living book on living at the highest energy level) says ‘Yoga is the practice of tolerating the consequences of being yourself’ and that makes me take inventory quite often. Thanks for the reminder 🙂 hope life is grand on your side of the lawn.
